You can always ask them. :) It may take a few days to hear back but I have found them very open to questions Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05033117202223821117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7074545955842912793.post-64205385932045345082014-03-25T13:32:10.364+01:002014-03-25T13:32:10.364+01:00I am surprised how many things are hidden in "...I am surprised how many things are hidden in "the treasury" trove. I don't understand this very much. If you travel to the Parsonage, will you look if you can see this ring? Do they have it on display or not?. Turquoise and pearls......That is really beautiful. Turquoise and pearls...that speaks of travel, the sea...and of a sea port like Penzance . The setting is some what crude, this ring is about the pretty stones. Interesting how Anne loved stones from the sea as well

Even so, such things as this almost certainly would have to come from the wealthier Branwell half of the family. Aunt's will mentions rings and how Rev. Bronte was to divine them between her nieces as he saw fit. By the time of Charlotte's own passing she would have had them all of course.

My understanding is Mr. Nicholls took CBN's jewellery with him to Ireland , left the pieces to his own Nicholls and Bell nieces, who in time gifted them back to the Parsonage .Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05033117202223821117noreply@blogger.com
