I made a mistake there. Tabby died the same day that Charlotte changed her will...but was buried some days later as was custom. But Arthur did indeed read the service

It's now seemingly written in stone CBN died because of complications during pregnancy. But it's just as likely Charlotte was contaminated by whatever infectious disease Tabby had while nursing her in the earlier stages of her illness .
