These are called pebbles, but I think " semi-precious stones" would be closer to it! It looks like the stones are quarts of different colors and she seemed to favor rose ones.

Just looking at these pretty things makes one feel better. Very likely when Anne felt the need for solace she would look them over too as reminders of happier times
How fortunate it is we have them today and I think it would please Anne her collection is still intact and giving enjoyment
