I fall on the cafe side of the question. The counsels are not as steady a source of funding these days as a cuppa tea imo...also if it was simply a museum one would look in and walk out. When there's a cafe, one will sit awhile. I very much like how they furnished it as the Brontes would feel at home It was valiantly tried as a museum only and failed in more prosperous times. This seems a good alternative
I would like someone to ask them why Emily's place? I think it's brilliant as she was so often in the kitchen kneading dough ...but why they chose the name would be interesting
