Quilt made by the Brontë sisters

Bronte Parsonage Museum Yesterday, some experts from the Quilters' Guild came to examine this quilt made by the Brontë sisters. It's extremely fragile and hasn't been on display since the 1980s, but we're considering giving it an airing in the Museum for a limited time. What do you think?

  1. If handled by experts, it's actually good for the quilt to be unrolled and aired. If they wish to display it, the small room near the end of the museum would be ideal as they can lower the lighting in there. Regular levels of light would turn it into shreds. I hope they photograph the material patches as they must be from actual dresses the sister's wore . Perhaps Aunt's cut down ones! lol
