Juliet Barker is a Yorkshire woman through and through. Despite the fame and success she has achieved through her writing, she has never been even slightly tempted to move further than from the West Riding to Wensleydale. “Never,” she says firmly. “I can’t imagine living anywhere other than Yorkshire.” It’s certainly been inspirational.

Thanks to her amazing research and writing , one cannot over state how much the Bronte enthusiast owes Juliet Barker. She's the number 1 biographer. It was a great day for Bronte enthusiasts when the Parsonage hired Barker as their librarian and she was inspired to write her book because she saw others come in to do " research" , but who ignored the source material just sitting there .
